Effective Altruism Introductory Fellowship (EAIF) is a 9-week fellowship program based on various readings, discussions, networking, research and more. Committed students can learn about the key concepts and main cause areas of Effective Altruism after taking this fellowship.

Fellowship alumni have highly rated the fellowship experience as providing valuable knowledge and revealing experience. Although not mandatory, it is advised to take part in EAAP program before you register for EAIF

What the Fellowship Involves

  • Time commitment of 3-5 hours per week

  • Fellows spend 2-4 hours in preparation for a weekly 60-minute discussion with their cohort

  • Cohorts have 3-5 fellows and one facilitator

  • Preparation involves going through the core materials, some of the further materials, completing exercises, and suggesting discussion questions
